The Orlando Magic and President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman announced on Thursday that the team is set to re-sign former Tennessee Volunteer Admiral Schofield to a new two-way contract.
Schofield’s two-way contract will allow him to play with both the Orlando Magic in the NBA and the Osceola Magic G-League team.

Admiral Schofield played in more than 130 games and started nearly 100 during his four-year stretch at Tennessee from 2015 to 2019. Schofield upped his game in points, rebounds, and assists during each season of his college career and ended his senior season averaging 16.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.
Schofield was a second-round draft selection (42nd overall) by the Washington Wizards via the Philadelphia 76ers during the 2019 NBA Draft.
In November 2020, Schofield was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder but was waived by the end of the preseason. Schofield getting let go by the Thunder opened up the door for him to be selected No. 1 overall in the 2021 NBA G-League Draft.
In December 2021, Schofield began a series of two-way contracts and 10-day contracts with the Orlando Magic. The former Vol played in 37 games during the 2022-2023 season for the Magic and averaged 4.2 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game.
Schofield is reportedly set to be one of three two-way players for the Magic alongside guard Kevon Harris and another player to be named later on.
