Tennessee Basketball’s two transfer additions this offseason met with the media on Tuesday for an availability with a 10-day Italy trip on the horizon at the end of the month.
Former Northern Colorado guard Dalton Knecht spoke to the media first and largely discussed the transition to playing the style and pace that Tennessee does. Knecht broke down the quick adjustments he has had to make and where he believes he can help this team on the court in the future.
Following Knecht was rising junior Jordan Gainey, the son of Tennessee associate head coach Justin Gainey and a former two-year player at USC Upstate. Gainey spoke about the recruitment process and the role that his dad played in the matter as he did just that – played the dad role more than the coach role. Gainey also answered similar questions about adjusting to Tennessee’s style, playing with the ball in his hands more frequently, and much more.
