In preparation for their 10-day Italy trip featuring three games and the upcoming 2023-2024 basketball season, the Tennessee Volunteers held practice in front of the media on Tuesday afternoon in Knoxville.
Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes and forward Tobe Awaka spoke with the media before the practice to update on some of the things happening around the program such as Awaka’s Team USA competition and the newcomers on the team.
Speaking of, there are plenty of new names and numbers to familiarize with before entering the season:

- No. 2 – Jr. Jordan Gainey
- No. 3 – Sr. Dalton Knecht
- No. 4 – Sr. Chris Ledlum
- No. 12 – Fr. Cade Phillips
- No. 13 – Fr. J.P. Estrella
