Tennessee has long targeted Spillman as one of the best linebackers in the 2024 recruiting cycle. The 6-foot-1, 216 pound linebacker is a Nashville native and standout at Lipscomb Academy. Edwin’s older brother, Nate, is an incoming freshman receiver in the Volunteer program.
Spillman ranks as a four-star recruit and the nation’s No. 334 player according to the 247sports composite rankings. The instate prospect also ranks as the state’s eighth best prep player and the No. 28 linebacker in the country.
