The four-star comes from a football family. One of his older brothers played offensive line at Minnesota while another older brother played defensive line at Wake Forest.
Both 247sports crystal ball predictions peg Calhoun to stay instate and commit to Georgia and the visits tell a similar story.
Calhoun has taken five visits to Georgia in the last year including three this year. The highly touted recruit has taken four visits to Auburn in the last year including two visits since Huge Freeze’s staff has taken over. Tennessee is in a similar boat, Calhoun has taken four visits to Knoxville in the last year including an official visit earlier this month.
Tennessee football’s 2024 recruiting class currently contains 15 commits and three offensive linemen. However, instate native Jesse Perry is the only offensive tackle prospect committed to Tennessee.
The Vols’ 2024 recruiting class currently ranks No. 10 nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.
