Nwaneri is one of the best players in the 2024 recruiting class, coming in as a five-star recruit and the nation’s No. 4 player and No. 1 defensive lineman according to the 247sports composite rankings.
Defensive line coach Rodney Garner and Tennessee have long coveted the Missouri native but have started making real headway in his recruitment in the last six months. The Vols got Nwaneri on campus for the first time this January and the five-star made a return trip to Knoxville last month.
