The Tennessee Volunteers concluded their penultimate practice of the spring camp slate on a sunny Tuesday morning in Knoxville.
The Vols will hit the practice field once more this week before concluding the spring with the Orange & White game on Saturday afternoon.
Tennessee began the day like they do every practice, with warm-ups and stretching on the indoor field before moving into some routine warm-up drills with their position groups. The defense heads to the far side of the field while the stays on the close side.
After a few minutes of everyone working out on the indoor field, the team then moves outside and usually begins to combine some position groups. Tennessee’s receivers and quarterbacks linked up quickly after heading outside to catch some routes on air.
In the short time that the media could view practice, the running backs looked to be working on shedding tackles while tight ends continued development in footwork and blocking. On the defensive side, the secondary was running through drills to track and catch deep balls through the air while the linemen and linebackers did more activities on the far side.
