Tennessee true freshman wide receiver Radarious Jackson made a ridiculous highlight play in his first spring game with the Volunteers on Saturday afternoon in Neyland Stadium.
Jackson, a 6-foot-2 receiver from Sheffield High School in Cordova, TN, was known for his length and size on the recruiting trail. Last spring, 247 Sports’ Cooper Petagna pointed to Jackson’s basketball background with “his ability to win at the catch point and outside the numbers.”
Tennessee fans saw that first-hand on Saturday afternoon.
Jackson made an incredible 32-yard one-handed, high-pointed reception near the endzone over fellow freshman defensive back Dylan Lewis in the Orange & White game on a pass from freshman quarterback George MacIntyre.
Here are a few angles of the reception near the north endzone:

More from RTI: Recap Of The 2025 Orange & White Game
Prior to the halftime break, MacIntyre connected with Jackson for a 26-yard touchdown on a fade route. The Daily Beacon’s Trevor McGee reported after the game that Jackson finished the contest with four receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown.
The big play potential from freshman Radarious Jackson is great to see for a Tennessee team that is looking for that very thing right now – playmakers. Tennessee returns Chris Brazzell II, Mike Matthews, and Braylon Staley, but there are opportunities to be seized from transfers and freshmen alike without a ton of depth in the receiver room. Jackson was a highly coveted four-star prospect on the 2025 recruiting trail.

One Response
For now, I have no issues with George being our starting QB. This kid has a lot of talent and we have the team around him to succeed. I dont have any illusions we are a top 10 team right now, a lot to prove. But I would be happy if we won 8-9 games this season, and thats doable. Next season, either George matures even more, or Faizon comes in like another Manning and takes over. By the way, how old is Peyton’s son now, he is getting up there isnt he? We need to start recruiting him.
