(1) Houston and (2) Tennessee will battle for the Midwest Region crown in a hard-hitting Elite Eight matchup on Sunday afternoon in Indianapolis.
The Cougars reached Sunday’s game with a last-minute victory against (4) Purdue on Friday night while the Vols advanced by pummeling (3) Kentucky in the prior game.
The Volunteers are currently a point underdog heading into the contest from Lucas Oil Stadium.
Both teams returned to the stadium on Saturday afternoon for a media session and practice. Houston’s media session featured head coach Kelvin Sampson, Emanuel Sharp, L.J. Cryer, Milos Uzan, and J’Wan Roberts. Tennessee, meanwhile, had head coach Rick Barnes, Zakai Zeigler, Chaz Lanier, Jahmai Mashack, Felix Okpara, and Igor Milicic speak on Saturday.
