March Madness sportsbook bonuses: Elite Eight odds and preview
Following is this weekend’s Elite Eight schedule, including the consensus point spreads and game totals as of midday Saturday for each of the four regional finals:
- West: No. 3-seed Texas Tech vs. No. 1 Florida (-7.5, 158), 6:09 p.m. ET, Saturday (TBS, truTV)
- East: No. 2 Alabama vs. No. 1 Duke (-7, 174.5), 8:49 p.m., Saturday (TBS, truTV)
- Midwest: No. 2 Tennessee vs. No. 1 Houston (-3, 123.5), 2:20 p.m., Sunday (CBS)
- South: No. 2 Michigan State vs. No. 1 Auburn (-5, 147.5), 5:05 p.m., Sunday (CBS)
Out West, with top-seeded Florida has won 15 of its last 16 and are seeking its first Final Four berth since 2014.
In the Gators’ way is 3-seed Texas Tech, which rallied from a 16-point second-half deficit Thursday to beat Arkansas 85-83 in overtime.
The other three regional finals feature 1-vs.-2-seed matchups, beginning Saturday night with Duke and Alabama in the East.
Cooper Flagg and the Blue Devils have won 14 consecutive games and remain the national title favorites.
But if Mark Sears and the Crimson Tide shoot like they did in connecting on an NCAA tournament-record 25 3-pointers in Thursday’s 113-88 rout of BYU, it could get interesting in Newark.
Sunday begins with the Midwest final in Indianapolis as 2-seed Tennessee will try to take down top-seeded Houston and advance to its first-ever Final Four.
Coach Kelvin Sampson’s Cougars survived a major scare from fourth-seeded Purdue on Friday night, prevailing 62-60 in the final seconds.
Later Sunday, it’ll be tourney No. 1-overall seed Auburn taking on Tom Izzo’s second-seeded Michigan State Spartans in the South title matchup in Atlanta.
Johni Broome and the Tigers have won each of their first three tourney games by 12 or more points and have their sights set on a trip to San Antonio.
