Tennessee and Kentucky have met up 241 times on the basketball court.
Not one of those meetings has come during the NCAA Tournament, though.
In fact, Tennessee has never played a fellow SEC program in the tournament in program history.
That all changes on Friday night when the Volunteers and Wildcats clash in Lucas Oil Stadium with a coveted spot in the Elite Eight on the line.
This will be the third and final meeting between Rick Barnes and Mark Pope’s teams this season as Tennessee looks for revenge. Kentucky won both regular season matchups, with one game taking place in Knoxville and the other in Lexington.
Tennessee will enter the game as point favorites on Friday in Indy.
