Tennessee was one of the top contenders to land the five-star receiver hosting him on multiple visits including two in the fall for the Vols’ wins over Florida and Kentucky. The blue-chip receiver also returned to Tennessee earlier this month on an unofficial visit.
The Vols’ 2026 recruiting class includes eight commits at the moment including from two receivers. Tyreek King is a four-star slot receiver from Knoxville while Tyran Evans is a three-star receiver from North Carolina. With a major need at receiver on their roster, Tennessee will likely look to sign a number of receivers in the 2026 cycle.
Tennessee’s eight-commit recruiting class currently ranks No. 6 nationally and No. 2 in the SEC according to the 247sports team rankings. LSU is currently the only SEC team with a recruiting class that ranks higher than Tennessee’s.
