Back home in Knoxville for a few days between the SEC Tournament and the NCAA Tournament, Tennessee had a handful of representatives speak with the media before the Vols head to Lexington, KY, for March Madness this weekend.
Tennessee, the runner-up in the SEC Tournament, landed a 2-seed in the Midwest Region and will take on 15-seed Wofford in the first round. The Vols are looking to win two games this weekend in Rupp Arena before moving to Indianapolis for Sweet 16/Elite 8 weekend.
Ahead of Thursday’s game against Wofford, Tennessee assistant coach Rod Clark met with the media on Tuesday to talk about the Vols’ first-round game. Tennessee’s Felix Okpara and Jordan Gainey also spent a few minutes previewing Thursday’s game as well.
