Pearce, Simmons, and Norman-Lott will be one of the first groups televised during on-field workouts with the defensive linemen and linebackers kicking things off on Thursday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET.
The offensive trio of Tennessee players will have the Saturday afternoon on-field showcase. McCoy, Thornton, and Sampson will work out on television from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET on Saturday alongside the wide receivers, running backs, and quarterbacks.
Common combine drills include the 40-yard dash, the bench press, the shuttle drill, the vertical jump, and on-field position drills.
While on-field workouts don’t begin until Thursday, Tennessee’s defensive trio will go through their media and team interviews on Wednesday. The Vols’ offensive trio will have their media time on Friday before workouts on Saturday.
As it has since 1987, the NFL Combine will once again take place in Indianapolis’s Lucas Oil Stadium.
Tennessee’s six participants in 2025 doubles the Vols’ number from 2024. Last February, Tennessee had a trio of NFL Combine participants with quarterback Joe Milton III, running back Jaylen Wright, and cornerback Kamal Hadden – all of whom ended up being drafted.
After the combine in Indianapolis, Tennessee’s NFL hopefuls will have another opportunity to impress scouts during the Vols’ Pro Day event on campus on Tuesday, Mar. 11. Stay tuned to Rocky Top Insider for coverage of the event from Knoxville.
The 2025 NFL Combine will be televised on the NFL Network this week.
The 2025 NFL Draft will take place from April 24 to 26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
