Tennessee added its eighth commitment to the 2026 class on Tuesday afternoon with three-star EDGE rusher Christopher “CJ” Edwards.
The 6-foot-5, 215-pound defensive lineman is Tennessee’s highest-rated defensive commit so far as the No. 47 EDGE rusher in the nation and the No. 10 player from the state of New Jersey, according to 247’s Composite Rankings. Edwards is also Tennessee’s second defensive line commit alongside three-star interior lineman Tyson Bacon from Hoover, AL.
Edwards chose Tennessee over Michigan, Boston College, and Duke.
