In Tennessee’s 29-4 win, the Vols trailed 3-1. UNC Asheville’s lead extinguished quickly thanks to a 9-run second inning from Tennessee. Dalton Bargo homered twice in the go-ahead inning, becoming the 3rd Vol to do so. Additionally, Bargo’s five-RBI night provided a nice bounce back effort for him after a poor 0-5 weekend at the plate against Hofstra.

Star sophomore Dean Curley tied Bargo for the team-lead with five RBIs, leaving the yard twice as well. Gavin Kilen was the final Vol to hit a home run, launching a 400+ foot home run over the video board for his first long ball in orange.

Tennessee is back in action Friday against Samford in game one of a three-game series, though frigid temperatures in Knoxville could alter game times this weekend.
