The Tennessee Volunteers will take the field for a regular-season game on Friday afternoon for the first time since being named NCAA National Champions in the College World Series in Omaha last summer.
Tennessee will host Hofstra in a three-game series this weekend as the Friday game will be played at 4:30 p.m. ET, the Saturday game at 4:00 p.m. ET, and the Sunday finale at Noon ET.
Ahead of the games in Knoxville, Tennessee head coach Tony Vitello spoke to the media on Tuesday afternoon to discuss his thoughts on the team entering the season and the opening series.
