The Vols victory from Knoxville serves as revenge for the Gators’ 30-point win over Tennessee earlier in the season from Gainesville.
Tennessee got it done on Saturday despite being shorthanded as Zakai Zeigler missed the game with a knee injury and Igor Milicic Jr. missed the game with illness. The Vols’ senior guards stepped up in the process as Chaz Lanier, Jahmai Mashack, and Jordan Gainey combined for 43 points.
