Tennessee signed two of the Top 30 players in the 2025 recruiting class, according to On3 Sports’ new final player rankings on Thursday.
The graphic that is making rounds on X shows all 32 five-star prospects in the 2025 class and the team that each player signed with.
The highest-rated player that Tennessee signed in the cycle was offensive tackle David Sanders Jr., the No. 9 overall prospect and the No. 3 overall OT on the list. Sanders gives Tennessee a true blue-chip prospect to work with who projects to have an early impact on the Vols’ offense as things start to get rolling on Rocky Top. The Charlotte, N.C., native was an early enrollee with Tennessee and was present during the team’s CFB Playoff game against Ohio State in December.
Tennessee’s second-highest player on the list, defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell, was a riser in the final rankings. Previously ranked as a four-star prospect and the No. 37 overall payer, On3 now has Campbell as a five-star prospect and the No. 30 overall player in the class.
What’s also interesting about the list, though, is the variation of teams for the Top 32 players. While some might expect college football’s blue bloods to be dominating the list, there looks to be a good bit of variation with 17 teams in the mix for these 32 players.
No team has more than five players with Texas leading the way at four in total. Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, LSU, and Ohio State have three, Tennessee and Michigan have two, and the rest have one player.
