With the late signing date less than a week away and many of the nation’s top recruits arriving on college campuses for the spring semester, recruiting websites are releasing their final rankings for the 2025 recruiting cycle.

On3 recruiting released its final rankings on Thursday morning and they bumped Tennessee signee Isaiah Campbell up to a five-star recruit.

Campbell is now a five-star recruit and the No. 30 player in the country according to On3. Previously, On3 ranked Campbell as the No. 4 defensive lineman and No. 37 player in the country.

The 6-foot-4, 280-pound defensive tackle is the second highest rated recruit in Tennessee’s 2025 signing class behind only five-star offensive tackle David Sanders.

Campbell was a long time Clemson commit before backing off his commitment to the Tigers in September. The blue-chip defensive lineman took visits to North Carolina and Tennessee following his de-commitment before committing and signing with the Vols during the early signing period over the Tigers and Tar Heels.

The Durham, North Carolina native is a top 100 recruit according to every single recruiting outlet. Campbell ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 43 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings.

Campbell enrolled at Tennessee last week and is going through winter workouts currently before the start of spring practice. It’s unclear whether Campbell will begin his career at strongside defensive end or defensive tackle. It will be difficult for Campbell to earn playing time as a freshman but he’ll have a chance to break the rotation, especially if at defensive tackle.
