The defending National Champions will kick off the season on Friday, Feb. 14, in an afternoon game from Lindsey Nelson Stadium against Hofstra. The Vols will start the season with eight straight home games before returning to the Lone Star State for a tournament in Houston in late February.
Vitello spoke with the media for nearly 20 minutes on Wednesday, touching on several different topics related to the team and preseason activity and movement. Right-handed pitcher Nate Snead and outfielder Hunter Ensley preceded Vitello before his press conference in Knoxville.
