The NFC’s fourth-seeded Rams (11-7) advanced with a 27-9 wild card rout of the Minnesota Vikings this past Monday as the L.A. defense registered nine sacks and forced two turnovers.
Veteran QB Matthew Stafford, meanwhile, threw for 209 yards and two TDs. It was the Rams’ sixth victory in their last seven games, losing only a Week 18 matchup against Seattle when most of the team’s starters were rested.
The second-seeded Eagles (15-3) are also on a late-season roll, having won 13 of their last 14, including a 22-10 home wild card win last Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
League rushing leader Saquon Barkley ran for 119 yards while the Philly defense and special teams forced four Green Bay turnovers.
Sunday’s game is a rematch of the Eagles’ 37-20 Week 12 victory in L.A. Philadelphia rushed for a season-high 314 yards in the contest, including 255 and two TDs for Barkley.
