While the Vols trailed for the vast majority of the game and even got down by 16 points at one point in the second half, Tennessee continued to fight. The Vols brought it to a two-point game with under three seconds to go but a crucial free-throw miss from Chaz Lanier ended the game. Vanderbilt defeated Tennessee by a score of 76-75 on Saturday.
