Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes and senior guard Jordan Gainey met with the media on Thursday in Knoxville as the Vols prepare to take on Texas in Austin, TX, this Saturday evening.
The Vols are looking to bounce back from their first loss of the season, a 30-point blowout against Florida, 73-43.
One early loss to a Top 10 team isn’t going to derail Tennessee, but the Vols can’t let the loss in Gainesville jumpstart a 0-2 week either. Tennessee will need to lock in to find a win against Texas on the road this Saturday night.
Ahead of the Vols’ early travel to Austin due to bad weather in Texas and Tennessee, Barnes and Gainey met with the media to discuss their thoughts on the Vols’ loss to the Gators and the Texas game coming up on Saturday. The Longhorns will host the Vols at 6:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
