One of Tennessee’s class of 2026 targets will reportedly be announcing his decision at the Under Armour All-America Game on the other side of New Year’s Day.

According to a report from Rivals recruiting analyst Sam Spiegelman on X, four-star defensive lineman JaReylan McCoy will choose between a top three of Tennessee, Southern California, and LSU during the event in Florida on Thursday, Jan. 2.

Spiegelman’s reporting also states that the transfer portal has been a “major catalyst” for the class of 2026 prospect “as he sifts through his finalists.”

McCoy is a 6-foot-6, 245-pound defensive line prospect from Tupelo High School in Tupelo, Miss.

247 Sports’ Composite Rankings have McCoy listed just outside the Top 100 prospects in the class at No. 103 overall. The rankings also list McCoy as a four-star prospect, the No. 12 defensive lineman in the class, and the No. 6 player from the state of Mississippi.

Tennessee previously made the top six for McCoy back in early September alongside Ole Miss, Oregon, Oklahoma, Southern California, and LSU.

Josh Heupel’s 2026 class has six total commitments at the time of this publication with one defensive lineman in the class, three-star DL Tyson Bacon from Hoover, AL. The Vols’ class is headlined by five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon, the No. 1 player in the class according to 247, as well as five other three-star players.

Tennessee’s 2025 signing class included a handful of highly-ranked defensive line prospects including four-star Isaiah Campbell, four-star Mariyon Dye, four-star Ethan Utley, and three-star Charles House. Campbell and Dye land as Tennessee’s second and third-highest rated signees in the class behind five-star offensive tackle David Sanders Jr.

The 2025 Under Armour All-America Game will take place on Thursday, Jan. 2, at 4:00 p.m. ET in DeLand, FL. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
