Tennessee football landed its first commit in the transfer portal on Wednesday morning when Arizona guard Wendell Moe Jr committed to the Vols over Auburn.
Landing Moe was a major win for the Vols in the transfer portal as they are looking to replace two if not all three of their starters on the interior of the offensive line following the 2024 season.
Mow was a two-year starter at Arizona where he earned Second Team All-Pac 12 honors in 2023 before bouncing back-and-forth from left and right guard in his redshirt sophomore season.
Over the last two seasons, Moe played 1,624 snaps and earned a 67.4 PFF grade this past season after earning a 68.5 PFF grade in 2023. According to PFF, Moe is an elite pass blocker from the guard position (88.3 grade in 2024) and an average run blocker (60.1). The Long Beach, California native is an elite pass blocker and has allowed only one sack in 1,111 pass blocking snaps in his college career.
So where do recruiting sites rank Moe compared to other players in the transfer portal? Taking a look here.
