Tennessee fans are getting the most out of the week leading into the playoffs.
With stories of Vol fans hijacking the Buckeyes’ ticketing system circulating the internet, one Tennessee fan decided to go ahead and plant their flag – metaphorically – on the list of shenanigans.
At the time of this publication, the Ohio Stadium Wikipedia page has an extra nickname – “Neyland North.”
Ohio Stadium’s list of nicknames now reads, “The Horseshoe, The Shoe, The House That Harley Built, Neyland North.”
The reference comes from Tennessee’s rallying cry online to try to get as much orange mixed into Ohio State’s “Scarlet Out” on Saturday night in Ohio Stadium.

The edit may not stay up on Wikipedia for long, but it has certainly made its way around Tennessee social media circles and message boards to start the week on Monday.
Last Thursday, Ohio State AD Ross Bjork implored Buckeyes fans to not sell their tickets to “rabid” Tennessee fans in fear of the Vols traveling north and invading The Shoe.
“What we need Buckeyes to do is wear scarlet. Don’t sell your tickets,” Bjork said on 97.1 The Fan’s Morning Juice on Thursday. “Tennessee fans, they’re rabid fans. They are going to invade the Shoe. So let’s make sure we don’t have as much orange in there as people think.”
OutKick college football reporter Trey Wallace posted a conversation with StubHub on social media Monday night. Wallace’s post shows that according to StubHub, “buyers from Tennessee accounted for 37% of tickets sold, compared to 34% from Ohio.”
Wallace’s reporting also shows that the Tennessee-Ohio State playoff game “has sold the most tickets of any first-round game on StubHub, with 35% more tickets sold than the #2 game, SMU @ Penn State.”

We’ll have to wait until Saturday to see, but it certainly seems as though a Big Orange wave is heading up to Columbus, OH, this weekend.
Adding to the excitement and festivities, ESPN’s College GameDay will also broadcast from Ohio State on Saturday morning in their normal time slot. Quite a few Tennessee fans will likely be traveling on Saturday due to the late kickoff, but that GameDay broadcast will likely be the first glimpse we see at how Tennessee fans traveled for the game on Saturday.
