More from RTI: Colin Cowherd Rattles Off Reasons Why Tennessee is a ‘Bad Matchup’ For Ohio State
Tennessee is 1-1 in College GameDay contests this season with a win over Oklahoma on Sept. 21 and a loss to Georgia on Nov. 16. GameDay did not set up shop in Knoxville at any point this past season.
With GameDay broadcasting in Columbus on the day of the Tennessee game, fans can likely expect featured stories or segments with Tennessee players and potentially even an appearance from head coach Josh Heupel on stage, though that seems more unlikely with everything going on.
8-seed Ohio State will host 9-seed Tennessee in a first-round playoff game from Ohio Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 8:00 p.m. ET.
