Each week we’ll take a look at the performances of the players who transferred out of Tennessee following the 2023 season.
Here’s a look at how Tennessee’s outgoing transfers performed in the final week of of the 2024 college football regular season:
DL Tyler Baron – Miami (FL)
In a disappointing upset loss for the Hurricanes that knocked them out of playoff contention, former Tennessee defensive lineman Tyler Baron had a productive day. Baron had four tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack.

CB Warren Burrell – Georgia Tech
Burrell and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets went to eight overtimes with Georgia but were unable to escape with a victory. Burrell was listed as a participant, but did not record a statistic.
CB Cristian Conyer – Coastal Carolina
Conner was listed as a participant in Coastal Carolina’s win over Georgia State, but did not appear in the box score.
LB Elijah Herring – Memphis
Herring had three tackles in Memphis’ win over a ranked Tulane team.

S Jack Luttrell – Arizona
Luttrell had one tackle in Arizona’s 49-7 loss to Arizona State.
S Tamarion McDonald – Louisville
McDonald was on the receiving end of two turnovers from Kentucky in Louisville’s 41-14 win. McDonald recovered a fumble, and had one interception. He also had one tackle.
OL Addison Nichols – Arkansas
Nichols started and finished the regular season as the starting center for Arkansas. The Razorbacks lost to Missouri 28-21.
CB De’Shawn Rucker – South Florida
Rucker had one tackle and two pass breakups in South Florida’s 35-28 loss to Rice.
CB Doneiko Slaughter – Arkansas
Slaughter finished Arkansas’ 28-21 loss to Missouri with nine total tackles.
CB Brandon Turnage – Ole Miss
Turnage was not listed as a participant in Ole Miss’ egg bowl win over Mississippi State.
S Wesley Walker – Michigan
Walker had six total tackles in Michigan’s 13-10 win over Ohio State. Because of Michigan’s win, Tennessee could potentially play Ohio State in the first round of the College Football Playoffs.
