Madden Iamaleava, the younger brother of Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava, flipped his commitment from UCLA to Arkansas on Early Signing Day.

Iamaleava is a four-star quarterback in the 2025 class from Long Beach, California.

Iamaleava had been committed to UCLA since May but flipped his commitment and signed with the Razorbacks’ program on Wednesday.

247 Sports Composite Rankings have Iamaleava as the No. 224 player in the nation, the No. 18 quarterback in the class, and the No. 20 player from the state of California. The Razorbacks currently have the No. 28 recruiting class with Iamaleava ranking as Arkansas’ highest-rated signed offensive player.

The Iamaleava family had the chance to visit Arkansas this past October as Nico and the Vols were upset by the Razorbacks on Oct. 5.

Arkansas is set to play Tennessee in Knoxville during the 2025 season.

The Razorbacks’ coaching staff pulled quite the heist on Wednesday, also flipping three-star UCLA wide receiver commit Jace Brown in addition to Iamaleava. 247 Sports national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins called Iamaleava and Brown’s flips “one of the bigger recruiting surprises of the day out west.”
