ESPN’s College Gameday is in College Station Texas today for the renewal of the instate rivalry. But the gameday crew did give their picks for Tennessee football’s regular season finale at Vanderbilt.
Tennessee (9-2, 5-2 SEC) controls its own destiny in the College Football Playoff race, simply needing to defeat the Commodores to punch its ticker to the 12-team playoff. But Vanderbilt (6-5, 3-4 SEC) is much improved this season and already has a handful of upset wins in conference play including over Alabama in Nashville.
The ESPN College Gameday crew mostly likes Tennessee to take care of business against its instate rivalry with four of the six members picking the Vols to earn the victory.
The betting line keeps moving down with Tennessee football coming in as 10-point favorites over Vanderbilt on Saturday morning according to the DraftKings Sportsbook. The over/under is set at 47.
Kickoff between Tennessee and Vanderbilt is just minutes away, kicking off at 12:05 p.m. ET. Dave Pasch, Dusty Dvoracek and Taylor McGreggor are on the call for ABC. Check out the gameday crews prediction here.
