Tennessee football improved to 9-2 (5-2 SEC) on the season after defeating UTEP 56-0 on Senior Day at Neyland Stadium.
The Vols started extremely slow and the game was tied at 0-0 at the end of the first quarter before Tennessee scored on eight of their final 11 touchdown to earn the blowout victory.
“Offensively, just a little bit off in some ordinary simple things. And that’s quarterback, it was offensive line in a couple of our targets. And a couple of those drives were starting inside the 10-yard line too. And so it’s a little bit different than being in a normal field.
“But once they just settled in and did ordinary things, which you guys hear me say all the time, but once we started doing the everyday things consistently, all 11, had a really good day.”
