Tennessee Football Announces Uniforms For Senior Day Matchup Against UTEP

Tennessee football is wearing its traditional home uniforms for its Senior Day matchup against UTEP at Neyland Stadium. It’s the fourth time in seven home games this season that Tennessee’s worn white helmets, orange jerseys and white pants.

The Vols wore their traditional home uniforms for wins over Florida, Alabama and Mississippi State. Tennessee wore Summitt blue accessories during the Mississippi State game.

So far this season, the Vols are 1-0 in their smokey grey uniforms, 3-0 in their classic home uniforms, 1-0 in their “dark mode” uniforms, 1-0 in their white helmets, orange jerseys, 2-1 in their all white uniforms and 0-1 in their white jerseys and orange pants combination.

UTP has yet to announce its uniforms for the non conference matchup at the time of publication and have a handful of different road combinations that they wear.

Tennessee enters its final home game of the season 8-2 (5-2 SEC) and coming off a road loss at Georgia last week. The Vols are right on the outside of the the College Football Playoff picture as the regular season winds down. Josh Heupel’s team must take care of business this week against UTEP and next week against Vanderbilt to give them a chance to make the playoffs.

UTEP is in the midst of a very bad season and boasts just a 2-8 (2-5 CUSA) record with two weeks remaining in the regular season. The Miners have played slightly better as of late, having won two of their last four games and having defeated Kennesaw State last week.

Kickoff between Tennessee and UTEP from Neyland Stadium is at 1 p.m ET on Saturday afternoon. The SEC Network+ is streaming the game.
