On this week’s episode of the RTI: Press Pass, hosts Ryan Schumpert and Ric Butler are back again for another late-night game breakdown.
This time, though, it comes after a Tennessee loss.
No. 7 Tennessee fell to No. 12 Georgia by a score of 31-17 on Saturday night in Sanford Stadium.
The Vols jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter but Georgie scratched back to make it 17-all at halftime. The Bulldogs would go on to put up 14 points to the Vols’ zero points in the second half to keep their playoff chances alive while Tennessee looks for help around the college football world.
The guys broke down the game for about 20 minutes after the contest, discussing Tennessee’s defense and pass rush problems, Georgia exploiting the middle of Tennessee’s defense, explosive plays (or lack thereof) for both the Vols and the Bulldogs, Tennessee’s rough third quarter, and more.
