Josh Heupel’s forth Tennessee team enters its penultimate game of the regular season 8-2 (5-2 SEC) having suffered its second loss of the season on Saturday against rival Georgia. Tennessee now needs some help but they remain in the College Football Playoff hunt if they can take care of business against UTEP and Vanderbilt to end the season.
UTEP is 4-6 against the spread so far this season but has covered just one of its last five games. The over has hit in four UTEP games this season while the under has hit six times.
The Miners are one of the worst teams in the FBS and enter the matchup at Neyland Stadium with a 2-10 (2-5 CUSA) record. UTEP is coming off one of its two wins of the season, having defeated Kennesaw State 43-35 on Saturday.
