Each week Rocky Top Insider will recap the performances of former Tennessee Volunteers in the NFL.
Below is a comprehensive list of week 10’s VFLs in the NFL, including statistics and observations.
Derek Barnett – Houston Texans – DE
Barnett logged 28 snaps in the Texans loss to the Detroit Lions.
Marquez Callaway – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – WR
In his second week on the active roster, Callaway was on the field for two snaps in the Buccaneers 23-20 loss to the 49ers.
Morgan Cox – Tennessee Titans – LS
Cox snapped the ball eight times throughout the Titans’ game against the Chargers, which the Titans lost 27-17.
Joshua Dobbs – San Francisco 49ers – QB
Dobbs did not see the field for the 49ers in their win over the Buccaneers.
Hendon Hooker – Detroit Lions – QB
Hooker did not see the field like he had in previous weeks, as the Lions matchup was tightly contested throughout the whole game. Hooker has only seen action for the Lions when the game has been out of reach for the opposition.
Jalin Hyatt – New York Giants – WR
Hyatt turned things around after being limited the past few weeks, as he caught four passes for 39 yards. The Giants lost to the Panthers 20-17.
Evan Neal received help from Theo Johnson against Jadeveon Clowney.

Theo Jackson – Minnesota Vikings – DB
Jackson played 14 special teams snaps for the Vikings as they defeated the Jaguars.
Jauan Jennings – San Francisco 49ers – WR
Jennings was the leading receiver for San Francisco in its win over Tampa Bay. Jennings caught seven passes for 93 yards.
Alvin Kamara – New Orleans Saints – RB
Kamara tallied 109 all-purpose yards, with 55 on the ground and 54 through the air. In the Saint’s win over the Falcons, Kamara became New Orleans’ all-time leading rusher with 6,544 yards.

Cade Mays – Carolina Panthers – OL
Mays started for the second week, as the Panthers defeated the New York Giants 20-17.
Jaylen McCollough – Los Angeles Rams – DB
McCollough had two tackles in the Rams Monday Night Football loss to the Miami Dolphins. This game featured VFL’s Jaylen Wright and Jaylen McCollough, who are both in their rookie seasons.
Joe Milton III – New England Patriots – QB
Milton did not log a snap for New England.
Josh Palmer – Los Angeles Chargers – WR
Palmer hauled in one pass for 36 yards in the Chargers win over the Tennessee Titans.
Cordarrelle Patterson – Pittsburgh Steelers – RB
Patterson received three carries which he took for 14 yards in the Steelers nail-biting win over Washington. Patterson also returned three kickoffs for a total of 61 yards.
Jalen Reeves-Maybin – Detroit Lions – LB
Reeves-Maybin did not play for the Lions in their win over the Texans.
Trey Smith – Kansas City Chiefs – OL
Smith played 72 snaps as he continues to be a mainstay for the Chiefs offensive line as they maintain their undefeated season.

Taylor tied his season high in tackles with nine. The Saints defeated the Falcons 20-17.

Shy Tuttle – Carolina Panthers – DL
Tuttle had five total tackles for the Panthers as they defeated the Giants.
Jaylen Wright – Miami Dolphins – RB
Wright was held in check by the Rams, as he had five carries for only three yards.
Byron Young – Los Angeles Rams – OLB
Young continued his impressive play, this time in primetime. Young had one sack, two quarterback hits, two tackles for loss, and four total tackles.
