ESPN’s College GameDay broadcast will set up shop in Athens this weekend for the Tennessee-Georgia game on Saturday night in Sanford Stadium.
GameDay will cover the high-stakes SEC rivalry matchup on Saturday morning with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, and Holly Rowe on the call that night.
College GameDay’s X account revealed on Thursday that WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will be the guest picker to close down the show.

Rhodes, the son of professional wrestler Dusty Rhodes, was born in Charlotte, N.C., but spent much of his early days in Georgia. Rhodes attended Lassiter High School in Marietta, GA, and is currently billed from Atlanta.
Rhodes also operates a professional wrestling school in Atlanta.
WWE superstar and former Tennessee track athlete Bianca Belair served as the guest picker for the Tennessee-Florida game in Knoxville in September 2022.
This is the second time that Tennessee has been the road team during a College GameDay broadcast this season. The first time came during the Vols’ 25-15 road win at Oklahoma on Sept. 21 this season.
ESPN brought out country musician and Oklahoma native Blake Shelton as the guest picker for the Tennessee-Oklahoma game.
Shelton was born in Ada, OK, in 1976 and stayed in Oklahoma until completing high school. Once that was over, though, Shelton moved to Nashville, TN, as just a teenager to begin his music career.
Shelton was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2010 and was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2014.
No. 12 Georgia will host No. 7 Tennessee on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. ET from Sanford Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ABC while the Saturday morning College GameDay broadcast will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET on ESPN.
