Tennessee Football’s cinematic video of the Mississippi State game last Saturday revealed a fascinating behind-the-scenes look into the Vols’ locker room during halftime.
The video specifically shows Josh Heupel telling his team that quarterback Nico Iamaleava would not be returning to the game.
“8’s out right now,” Heupel said. “Got Gas Pipe (Gaston Moore). Let’s go play ball. Everybody got me?”

Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava exited last weekend’s game against Mississippi State after suffering an injury late in the first half of play. Veteran backup quarterback Gaston Moore took over the Vols’ offense to start the second half and helped Tennessee maintain their lead over the Bulldogs to secure the 33-14 win in Neyland Stadium.
