The Food City Center opened its doors to regular-season basketball on Monday night in Knoxville as No. 12 Tennessee hosted and defeated Gardner-Webb by a score of 80-64.
Tennessee’s pregame light show and introductions took place before the game on Monday to ramp up the fans’ excitement before the contest on Rocky Top.
With a new media seating section implemented this season, Rocky Top Insider had a different look at the arena during the pregame show and introductions. We’ll bring you more pregame videos throughout the year and especially in SEC play to note any differences, but it was important to give those who couldn;t be in attendance a look at what Tennessee put together for Monday’s season-opening game.
