Tennessee basketball fell to Indiana 66-62 in its final tuneup before the start of the regular season as shooting struggles headlined a disappointing performance from the Vols.
The Vols started an ice cold one-of-14 from three-point range before hitting some shots in the second half to finish eight-of-35 from deep. Tennessee got open looks from deep but couldn’t get many to go down.
Perhaps more worrisome is the lack of pressure they put on Indiana’s post defense. Tennessee took just 13 shots at the rim and made only six of those attempts. Ohio State transfer Felix Okpara did some good things at the basket but few other Vols were able to replicate it.
