SCORE: FINAL, Western Kentucky 6, Tennessee 16

NASHVILLE, Tn. — Tennessee baseball has its first of two fall scrimmages on Friday night as the Vols face off against Western Kentucky at First Horizon Park, home of the Nashville Sounds.

The Vols and Hilltoppers plan on playing 14 innings with nearly every Tennessee position player bound to get work as well as half of its pitchers. Tennessee is back in action on Sunday against Troy in Jackson, Tennessee so the pitchers that don’t throw against the Hilltoppers will likely throw in that game.

There is no way to broadcast tonight’s matchups. You can also follow along with updates on the Rocky Top Insider X (Twitter) account though the updates will be much more detailed here.

Injury Notes

Neither utility man Dalton Bargo nor infielder Ariel Antigua will be available this weekend as they both deal with hand/finger injuries.

Read up on those injuries and other Tennessee injury notes entering the weekend here.
