Vols head coach Josh Heupel and four Tennessee players met with the media on Wednesday morning in Knoxville as the Vols go through their open date week.
Tennessee entered their second and final open week of the year after defeating Florida and Alabama in back-to-back home games from Knoxville. The Vols will try to extend that number to a 4-0 home stretch with Kentucky and Mississippi State traveling to Rocky Top after the open date.
Heupel led off the press conference as he spoke about Tennessee’s prep and planning for the open week and where he wants to see improvements from his team in the final stretch of the regular season. Heupel also talked about Squirrel White’s status this week, Alabama’s fake noise claim, Will Brooks’ interception, and much more.
Tennessee also had four players speak with the media on Wednesday including WR Bru McCoy, OL Cooper Mays, LB Jeremiah Telander, and DL Dominic Bailey.
