Each week we’ll take a look at the performances of the players who transferred out of Tennessee following the 2023 season.

Here’s a look at how Tennessee’s outgoing transfers performed in week eight of the 2024 college football season:

DL Tyler Baron – Miami (FL)

Baron had four total tackles in the Hurricanes’ 52-45 shootout win over Louisville. Baron has not recorded a sack since week four but continues to have multi-tackle games. Miami’s defense has given up over 30 points in their last three games after limiting their first four opponents to a combined 41 points. The Hurricanes will host Florida State in week nine.

CB Warren Burrell – Georgia Tech

Burrell came down with his first interception of the season in Georgia Tech’s 31-13 loss to Notre Dame. He returned the interception for 27 yards. He also recorded a solo tackle. Burrell and the Yellow Jackets will travel to Virginia Tech in week nine.

CB Cristian Conyer – Coastal Carolina

Conyer had a pass breakup and two solo tackles in Coastal Carolina’s 34-24 loss to Louisiana. This was a nice showing for Conyer, as he had not made a tackle or a pass breakup in the previous two games. The Chanticleers have an open date in week nine.

LB Elijah Herring – Memphis

Herring had four tackles and a pass defended in the Tigers’ 52-44 win over North Texas. Even though Herring missed two games due to injury, he is second on the team in both sacks (3.5) and tackles for loss(5.5.) He has the fourth most tackles on the team with 25.
