With cigar smoke in the air, screaming college students running around, and Dixieland Delight playing from the loudspeakers, Vols head coach Josh Heupel soaked in the moment on this particular Tennessee Saturday night.

As Heupel did his post-game television interview with ESPN from the field, more and more fans began to fill the shot in anticipation of Heupel’s acknowledgment. The Vols’ head coach wrapped up his interview, turned to the rapid bunch of fans, and started going wild.

If it wasn’t for the fact that Heupel was in the center of the moshpit with all the attention, the untrained eye might of just thought that Heupel was another fan in a Nike windbreaker going bezerek for the win.

“This is college football absolutely as good as it gets,” Heupel said in the ESPN interview. “I love our fans. They hung in there with us tonight, a big part of the game. Hell of a day to wear orange.”

Outkick national writer Trey Wallace had an up-close and personal view of Heupel’s celebration with the fans.

The video, unsurprisingly, went viral within minutes.
