Tennessee’s good fortune this weekend continued to Sunday morning.

Tennessee and head coach Josh Heupel landed a commitment from four-star offensive lineman Brandon Anderson on Sunday as he made his announcement on X.

“1000000% COMMITTED,” Anderson wrote.

The 6-foot-5, 320-pound prospect from Kennesaw, GA, committed to Tennessee on Sunday morning after a visit to Rocky Top for the Vols’ overtime win over SEC rival Florida last Saturday night. Tennessee had their patented Checker Neyland on display with the crowd as the Vols brought home the win in front of Anderson.

The Class of 2026 prospect holds a four-star ranking from Rivals and ESPN’s recruiting services but is not yet ranked on 247 Sports and On3 Sports’ platforms. Rivals has Anderson ranked as the No. 43 player in the state and the No. 32 offensive tackle in the country, but all of these rankings are sure to continue shaking out as the class solidifies itself following these players’ junior seasons in 2024.

Anderson currently plays for North Cobb High School which is just about 31 miles north of Atlanta.

Tennessee’s newest commitment had been active in the weeks leading up to his commitment on Sunday. After racking up offers from SEC programs such as Georgia, Auburn, Kentucky, and Florida over the summer and early fall, Anderson took visits to Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee in the three weeks before his commitment.

Anderson unofficially visited the Crimson Tide for the Georgia game on Sep. 28, took an unofficial to Georgia for the Auburn game on Oct. 5, and was on Rocky Top last week for the Florida game. Tennessee, the first major team to offer Anderson a scholarship back in April, also hosted Anderson for spring practice in April and an unofficial visit in June.

It’s unclear whether Anderson’s commitment being the morning after the Alabama game was coincidental or intentional, but it’s a great string of success for Josh Heupel and his staff nonetheless.

Anderson did have Alabama and Tennessee both in his Top 10 from just a few days ago.

Tennessee now has three commitments to its 2026 class with all three being on the offensive side of the football. Quarterback Faizon Brandon will be the centerpiece of Tennessee’s class as 247’s No. 1 overall player in 2026 while tight-end Carson Sneed is an impressive and rising prospect from Donelson Christian Academy in Nashville. With the addition of Anderson to the class on Sunday morning, Tennessee and head coach Josh Heupel certainly have some nice pieces to start assembling the class around.
