KNOXVILLE, TN – The Third Saturday in October is upon us.

No. 11 Tennessee (5-1, 2-1 SEC) will welcome No. 7 Alabama (5-1, 2-1 SEC) into Neyland Stadium on Saturday afternoon for the first time since the Vols’ historic win over Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide in 2022.

Both Tennessee and Alabama have struggled in recent weeks but still have playoff chances alive with the expanded playoff format. Come Sunday morning, though, one team will be in a good position and the other will be much closer to elimination than a favorable spot.

There’s a ton on the line for this rivalry game – exactly as it should be.
