Tennessee football is less than 24 hours away from kicking off its rivalry showdown against Alabama at Neyland Stadium. That means it’s time for the second to last availability report for the Third Saturday in October rivalry matchup.
The availability report is new this season and is effectively an injury report that each team releases every night up until kickoff. The final availability report comes out 90 minutes before kickoff on game day.
Through the first two availability reports of the week, Tennessee running back Cameron Seldon and left tackle Lance Heard are the only Volunteer players whose status is up in the air. Alabama has had some movement through the first two days of reports with a few players whose status is still ip in the air.
So far this season, Friday night has been the definitive night for Tennessee’s availability reports with no changes on game day. That proved to be the case again this week.
With that, let’s take a look at the Tennessee-Alabama Friday availability report including some notes on the report for both teams.

Tennessee Availability Report

– S Jourdan Thomas
– LB Edwin Spillman
– LB Keenan Pili
Tennessee Notes
Both left tackle Lance Heard and running back Cam Seldon are available after being on the injury report the previous two days.
Seldon was listed as questionable before while Heard was listed as probable. The running back is Tennessee’s third string running back while Heard has struggled as the Vols’ starting left tackle.
Alabama Availability Report
OUT
– LB Cayden Jones
– RB Daniel Hill
PROBABLE
– LB Yhonzae Pierre
– DB Keon Sabb
Alabama Notes
Only one update of note for Alabama and it’s that star safety/nickel back Domani Jackson is good to go for the rivalry showdown. Jackson was listed as probable earlier this week.
Jones is a rotational linebacker who’s missed the last three days while Hill is freshman running back way down the depth chart.
