There are no changes between Wednesday and Thursday for Tennessee’s latest injury report from Thursday night but there are a few for Alabama.

The availability report is a new report that mandates SEC teams list their injured players in the three days leading up to a game and on game day. For Saturday games that would mean the first report comes out Wednesday night, then on Thursday night, Friday night, and usually 90 minutes before kickoff on game day.

Here’s a look at Tennessee and Alabama’s availability reports from the Thursday night update:

Tennessee Availability Report

OUT

– S Jourdan Thomas

– LB Edwin Spillman

– LB Keenan Pili

QUESTIONABLE

– RB Cameron Seldon

PROBABLE

– OT Lance Heard

Tennessee Notes

Keenan Pili will be on the shelf for the remainder of the season after the veteran linebacker suffered a season-ending ACL tear against Florida last weekend. Thomas has been a consistent player on Tennessee’s injury report as we will now see Pili’s name next to his each week.

Seldon stayed at the “questionable” spot from Wednesday’s injury report as the second-year running back has been on and off Tennessee’s active lineup throughout the season. Seldon was projected to compete for the Vols’ backup running back position but that has primarily gone to running back DeSean Bishop in the wake of Seldon’s injuries.

Similarly, Heard remains at the “probable” position from Wednesday’s report as the Vols’ sophomore left tackle continues to go through a challenging year. Heard hasn’t seen the most effective play during the Vols’ SEC slate but has also been battling injuries this season as well. Heard missed Tennessee’s games against Kent State and Oklahoma due to injury as veteran Swiss army knife Dayne Davis and Larry Johnson filled in.

Alabama Availability Report

OUT

– LB Cayden Jones

– RB Daniel Hill

PROBABLE

– DB Domani Jackson

– LB Yhonzae Pierre

– DB Keon Sabb

Alabama Notes

Unlike Tennessee, Alabama’s Thursday night injury report does feature a few big changes with key players.

Alabama DB Domani Jackson is unchanged on the Thursday injury report after being listed as “probable” on Wednesday. Jackson has been one of the Tide’s starting safeties this season and has started all six of Alabama’s games so far.

Yhonzae Pierre, an EDGE rusher who has played in nearly 50 snaps this season, has been moved from “questionable” to “probable” in the Thursday update. Linebacker Cayden Jones is unsurprisingly listed as “out” after he has missed the Tide’s last three games.

Alabama WR Kobe Prentice is a big name to watch as he was moved off of the Tide’s report from Wednesday to Thursday. Prentice, Alabama’s third-leading receiver on the season, missed last week’s game against South Carolina after suffering an injury against Vanderbilt the week before. Reserve wide receiver Kendrick Law also exited the injury report after a “probable” listing on Wednesday.

Alabama DB Keon Sabb was not listed on Wednesday’s report but is listed as “probable” on Thursday. Sabb has seen action in all six of Alabama’s games this season with 37 total tackles including 12 against South Carolina.

Alabama running back Daniel Hill also entered the injury report for the first time this week on Thursday as “out”. Hill is a freshman running back who has seen 13 combined carries in just two games this season.
