Tennessee opened the week with a handful of press conferences from their practice facility on Monday afternoon.
The No. 11 Vols will prepare to host No. 7 Alabama in the Third Saturday in October rivalry contest this Saturday afternoon from Neyland Stadium.
Head coach Josh Heupel opened the day with a 12-minute press conference as he spoke about the Vols’ passing games, Nico Iamaleava’s decision-making on the field, Keenan Pili’s season-ending injury, his prior interactions with Alabama head coach Kalen Deboer, and much more.
Heupel was followed by three Tennessee players at the podium on Monday. Tennessee center Cooper Mays spoke about the offensive line’s performance, safety Will Brooks spoke about defending Ryan Williams, and safety Christian Charles spoke about battling injuries throughout his career as he ramps up this season.
No. 11 Tennessee will host No. 7 Alabama at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday in Knoxville.
