Each week we’ll take a look at the performances of the players who transferred out of Tennessee following the 2023 season.

Here’s a look at how Tennessee’s outgoing transfers performed in week six of the 2024 college football season:

DL Tyler Baron – Miami (FL)

Baron had three tackles in Miami’s 39-38 come-from-behind victory over California. The Golden Bears took the largest lead of the day when they scored a touchdown seven minutes into the third quarter, making the score 35-10. Baron and the Hurricane’s defense would only allow three more points over the next 23 minutes. Miami would end the game on a 29-3 run featuring a stout defense, and long drives by the Miami offense ending in points.

Miami is still undefeated and at the top of the ACC with a 6-0 record. They will have an open date in week seven before traveling to Louisville in week eight.

CB Warren Burrell – Georgia Tech

Burrell had two tackles in Georgia Tech’s 24-14 win over Duke. The Blue Devils were undefeated going into the matchup and Georgia Tech handed them their first loss of the season. The Yellow Jackets (4-2) will travel to Chapel Hill in week seven for a contest with the North Carolina Tar Heels (3-3.)

CB Cristian Conyer – Coastal Carolina

Conyer did not appear in the box score for the Chanticleers’ 45-37 win over Old Dominion but was listed as a participant. Coastal Carolina (4-1) will face James Madison (4-1) in week seven on ESPN2 on Thursday night.

LB Elijah Herring – Memphis

Memphis had an open date in week six and will travel to play at South Florida in week seven.

S Jack Luttrell – Arizona

Luttrull was listed as a participant in Arizona’s 22-28 loss to Texas Tech but did not record a statistic. Arizona will travel to BYU in week seven.

S Tamarion McDonald – Louisville

McDonald recorded two tackles in Louisville’s 34-27 loss to SMU. The Cardinals were unbeaten going into week five, but have now lost back-to-back games. They will travel to Virginia for their week seven matchup against the Cavaliers.

OL Addison Nichols – Arkansas

Nichols was the starting center for Arkansas in its 19-14 win over Tennessee. The former Volunteer helped lead an offensive line that protected their quarterback, allowing only two sacks to the Tennessee defense. Arkansas is 4-2 and will have an open date in week seven before hosting LSU in week 8.

CB De’Shawn Rucker – South Florida

South Florida had an open date in week six. The Bulls will host Memphis in week six. There will be two former volunteers in the matchup, as Rucker (USF) and Elijah Herring (Memphis) are both defensive players for their respective teams after entering the transfer portal following the 2023 season.

CB Doneiko Slaughter – Arkansas

In Slaughter’s game against his former team, the defensive back walked away with eight tackles, one pass breakup, and a 19-14 victory against Tennessee. This was a season-high for Slaughter in tackles, and the Tennessee offense struggled to move the ball against the Arkansas defense.

CB Brandon Turnage – Ole Miss

Turnage had three tackles in the Rebels blowout road victory over South Carolina. Ole Miss will travel to Baton Rouge in week seven as they look to take down the Tigers.

S Wesley Walker – Michigan

Walker was listed as a participant in Michigan’s 17-27 loss to Washington but did not find his way onto the stat sheet. The Wolverines will have an open date in week seven before traveling to Illinois in week eight.
